It all began with a simple “heart sparkle” on social media - a modern meet-cute that would become the start of something beautiful.

One evening, Mason came across a photo of Brooke through a mutual friend. After a few conversations, Brooke invited Mason to her formal, and their first meeting was a walk at Lakeshore followed by a night of dancing.

Though their connection was instant, the timing wasn’t quite right. Brooke was traveling, and Mason returned to Tuscaloosa to finish the semester.

Months later, they reconnected over the phone, but again, life had other plans.

In the fall of 2023, Brooke visited Tuscaloosa for the Tennessee–Alabama football game. Neither of them knew that this weekend would change everything. After the game, Mason learned that Brooke still had feelings for him - and as the saying goes, the third time’s the charm.
